Business Editor for the German national weekly Die ZEIT. He has been writing since 2000 on the subjects of media, the Internet, lobbyists, and civil society. In 2005 he collaborated with the journalist Cerstin Gammelin on their non-fiction bestseller “Die Strippenzieher. Manager, Minister, Medien – wie Deutschland regiert wird” (”Puppet Masters: Managers, Ministers, Media, and the Balance of Power in Germany”).
